OUR MISSION
Jean Lyons School of Music nurtures students’ musical potential through high-quality, personalized instruction, fostering technical skills, creativity, and life skills in a supportive environment that encourages a lifelong love of music.
We provide high-quality education in piano, guitar, theory, harmony, and history to students of all ages and skill levels.
We offer a tailored approach to suit individual learning styles and musical goals, while ensuring that students receive a comprehensive and well-rounded music education. In addition to individual lessons, students have opportunities to participate in enrichment classes, such as ensemble groups, recitals, and competitions, building valuable performance experience and collaboration skills.
Our School is a community of 150 students and a dedicated team of teachers. Throughout the years, Jean Lyons was continually urged to start other branches of her School. However, she kept it small to allow each student to participate in classes and recitals.
Our vibrant faculty, many of whom have been with the school for years, share a deep camaraderie and passion for teaching. Together, we work collaboratively to ensure that our students receive the highest level of education while fostering a sense of community. Our studios are bright and welcoming, equipped with well-maintained acoustic pianos, providing an ideal space for both learning and personal expression.
