Tod Dorozio

Tod is a classical guitarist and published composer. Hailing from Vancouver, Tod lived in Toronto for 22 years, where he taught classical guitar at Pro-Music Conservatory, the Conservatory of Dance & Music, and privately. He studied with the late, great Canadian-Israeli guitar pedagogue, Eli Kassner, who was a former student of renowned guitarist, Andres Segovia. Tod has participated in numerous masterclasses with top guitar virtuosos, including Remi Boucher, Pavel Steidl, and Jeremy Jouve. Tod holds a Music Diploma from Vancouver Community College, a Bachelor of Music from the University of Toronto, and is a candidate for the Master of Music in Guitar Performance from the University of British Columbia. Tod’s teaching style is rooted in a desire to instill in his students a love of learning, making, and sharing music. His approach is anchored in helping his students establish both an excellent classical guitar technique and an expressive performance style. Tod teaches a diverse range of genres, with Classical at the core, including Flamenco, Jazz, and Pop.
