Susan Wong Lim

Susan is a former pupil of Jean Lyons and has been teaching at the School since 1975. She earned a BMus in Piano Performance from UBC, studying under Robert Silverman. An RCM Certified Teacher (Advanced Specialist) in Piano, Ms. Wong’s students have won Gold Medals from the Royal Conservatory of Music and First Place at the Canadian Music Competition National Finals. As a pianist with the Vancouver Piano Ensemble, she has performed in Canada, Asia and Europe. She served on the BC Regional Council of the Canadian Music Centre, and sits on the Boards of Directors of the Vancouver Recital Society, Vancouver Kiwanis Music Festivals Society, and Morningside Music Bridge Foundation. She also continues to foster local talent as the longtime Concert Chair of the Vancouver Women’s Musical Society, of which she is an honorary life member.
