Anita Lum

Anita has taught piano for over 30 years. She earned her ARCT and LRSM in Piano Performance, studying with May Lim and Dina Corrado at the School. She also holds a Bachelor of Commerce from UBC where she specialized in human resources management. An active volunteer in the music community, Ms. Lum has worked with organizations such as the ARCT Alumni Association, CMC BC Society, and Royal Schools of Music. From her own experience, she believes that recitals, masterclasses, festivals, and even exams constitute a collaborative musical journey through which many opportunities and lifelong friendships are nurtured. It is in this wider context that she seeks to situate her dedication to teaching.
