Welcome to the Jean Lyons School of Music! We are Vancouver's oldest established music school, and for over 40 years we have been providing the highest quality of music education.
At Jean Lyons School of Music, we strive
toward a common goal: a rewarding experience for the student in the
learning of music. The benefits of a musical education have been extensively
researched and reported on, particularly as it pertains to early
childhood and cognitive development. But we also see the benefits in
terms of a life-long enrichment. Through learning to play
an instrument with some degree of proficiency, one also develops
discipline and time management strategies, perseverance through
practice, and an appreciation of musical balance and beauty.
